So Jess and I and our good friends, John and Heather, went to Universal CityWalk to do the indoor skydiving at "I-Fly." We had a blast. The first video below is of us. First, I start from lying down in the tube. You can just barely see my feet and then you see me slowly start rising as the fans increase. Then Heather, then John, and then finally Jess. After you see us, take a look at the next video. It's our instructor showing off. He was just ridiculous! Make sure to watch his all the way through to see his crazy backflip dismount!!
Here's us:

Didn't scare me a bit!!!!
OK.... maybe just a little :)
So, we just had the largest earthquake we've had since I've been out here (about 10 years). It was a 5.8 magnitude with the epicenter about 15 miles away.
I just wanted to reassure anyone who was concerned that we're both fine.
It was pretty scary and seemed to just go on forever, but after all is said and done it wasn't that bad.

4 Generations
I was just going through some pics in iPhoto and came across one of my favorite pics of all time. Any pictures of my Grandmother are precious to me, but to have one with 4 generations of my family in one is just priceless.

Fishing in Cancun, Mexico
Here's a pic of a Sailfish that I caught in Cancun last weekend while at my good friend's Bachelor party. I'll upload more pics from the weekend later, but wanted to get this up:
UPDATE: Check out the video of Brian landing a nice sailfish below the pic
Here's a video of Brian (The Bachelor) landing a sailfish. It's kind of slow at first, but it jumps quite a bit as the get it close to the boat:

Holidays in Monterey, CA
It's a bit delayed, but here are some pictures from the amazing trip that Jess and I took to Monterey just after Christmas last year. I've always wanted to take the scenic drive up the coast and all I can say is that it surpassed all of my expectations. The drive was the coolest, most beautiful drive I've ever taken.
We stopped in Santa Barbara for a night to see some friends and then just took our time heading up the coast. We stopped at Beulton, CA and went to Anderson's for some lunch (I'm sure I don't need to mention that Beulton is home of split pea soup). After hitting Pismo Beach, we made our way to Monterey.
What a cool town. The aquarium was the best I've ever seen. The wine tasting was fantastic. And, the 17 Mile drive in and around Pebble Beach and Spyglass was stunning (we saw a cute deer chilling by road there).
Anywho.... here are the pics. I've got some video files that I'll be posting someday as well, but I've no clue when I'll get them edited and uploaded.
